Illumination

Illumination explores the transformative nature of life, our land and constellations beyond, honouring our First Nations People’s ancient culture’s storytelling medium of paint.

The metamorphosis of vibrant moving paint landscapes will illuminate a wall on the Surf Coast, engaging and uplifting community with the transformative power of art, accompanied by a deep and lifting soundscape.

Multidisciplinary artists and art forms from the Surf Coast combine to create Illumination.

It is an experimental art form bringing together Surf Coast painting artists, sound artists with film and projection art to transform a stadium wall in the Surf Coast, for one night only, to connect community and enliven the senses, with vibrant art. Tickets are timed for comfortable viewing, as part of the COVID safe policy and method, and for fluid event date communications.

Tickets are also a way to support the artists who have created the art event.
